The Recruitment Department of the French Chamber of Great Britain is acting as an agency for its over 530-member companies, one of which is currently recruiting a Sales Engineer.



Our client is a French company specialised in Data and Telecom Infrastructures, especially fiber optical development.



As a Sales Engineer, you will be in charge of two missions, developing sales/margins and also have the technical skills to develop the products and consequently the business. You will directly report to the International Business Manager based in France.



Key Responsibilities:



Sales mission: (in collaboration with Sales Administration and the Supply Chain departments)



• Define the sales targets, the conditions,





and constraints related to export with your manager



• Centralize all information on the market and the companies to prospect



• Define and implement the different types of commercial approach (canvassing, prescribers, partnerships, etc.) that are the most effective



• Identify the relevant contacts within the targeted companies, and get them signed



• Solicit and Respond to Consultations and Tenders



• Contribute to the adaptation of offers, in relation to marketing and the design office



• Present and adapting the commercial offer to the needs expressed by customers



• Build loyalty in existing accounts by developing turnover



• Identify new contacts at the customer's premises; keeping your network of contacts alive



• Develop the turnover on existing customers and to develop it on new customers



• Check that commitments given to customers are respected: deadlines, cost, quality, etc



• Develop knowledge of customers and their needs



• Assess and seeking to improve customer satisfaction, particularly in promoting the image and notoriety of the company



• Report on its activities and market information in its zone



• Contribute to communication and representation actions (emailing, trade fairs, federations...)



• Work in compliance with the company's health and safety rules



• Comply with the rules of procedure and internal procedures



• Develop Sales and guarantee margin levels within its scope of consolidation



• Promote the company in all the networks and partnerships linked to its activity



• Guarantee a good knowledge of the constraints related to the countries under its responsibility



Technical missions:



• Understand customers and technical issues



• Analyses of the technical requirements



• Ensure regular follow-up of the needs expressed by customers



• Develop product in the UK in line with regulations



Profile:



• Bac +5 Business School



• Bac +5 Engineering School



• Fluent English. Speaking French is a plus



• Knowledge of products and markets related to the telecom industry



• Experience in the sales and relevant electrical engineering knowledge



• Strong punctuality and thoroughness (time, costs and quality)



• Strong organization



•Good communication skills



• Open to travel to France for training purposes
