Role Summary

Lead EH&IBD; Tissue Bank Officer will be responsible for co-ordinating and managing the delivery of studies associated with the portfolio of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Tissue Bank and assisting with the day to day management of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Tissue Bank.

This will include oversight of the work undertaken by staff working on the EH&IBD; portfolio under the remit of the Royal Devon Tissue Bank

We’d love to hear from you if you have varied Band 6 experience or are an experienced Band 5 looking to step up, as long as you are enthusiastic and eager to learn.

This fixed term post would be suitable for a secondment.

We need a dynamic, experienced tissue bank officer to take on the coordinator / project lead role within our Royal Devon Tissue Bank.

Are you looking for a challenging, rewarding role supporting research activities within a fast-paced environment? We are looking for an enthusiastic 'can do', experienced officer with excellent research skills and the ability to work on their own initiative to join our friendly team.

This is primarily a RDUH eastern based role being the lead for a new tissue bank study as well as having oversight of all projects under the remit of the Tissue Bank.

Please note, the Job Description for this role is currently going through the formal matching process and therefore the banding may be subject to change.
