Location: Southam, CV47 0LY
We are looking for a full time, Early Years Assistant join our Bright Horizons Southam Nursery. This role will be working from 11:00-14:30 Monday to Friday, covering our lunch period within the nursery.
The nursery is proudly Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' and is situated in Southam, Warwickshire, close to Leamington Spa and Rugby train stations

What you’ll be doing
- Lead, mentor and inspire a team to deliver exceptional care and education
- Ensure the learning environment provides consistent stimulation and engaging activities for the children, across both the indoor and outdoor areas
- Deliver and plan rich learning opportunities and exceptional care, to help all children to develop and meet their individual milestones
- Develop and maintain strong partnerships with colleagues, parents and/or carers, as well as other professionals, to meet the individual needs of each child
- Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety and safeguarding
- Work with colleagues to maintain a positive, happy and safe environment
What we’re looking for
- Previous experience working within an Early Years setting - ideally as a Room Leader, Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator or similar
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children
- Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both children and adults
