As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you’ll be essential in building on the success of our client, a leader in the low-code platform space. They are looking for a true go-getter—someone proactive and driven to create impact and seize new opportunities. The role will include 3 days working at their Central Reading offices and remaining time based at home. This exciting UK-based tech company operates in a market projected to exceed $140 billion over the next five years. The low-code development platform is already widely utilized in sectors such as healthcare, legal, consumer research, and financial services.
Your role will focus on expanding this reach by identifying and engaging with prospective clients and supporting the sales team in nurturing high-quality leads.
Key Responsibilities:
* Targeted Research: Conduct detailed research into accounts and territories to identify key contacts and gather insights for successful prospecting.
* Lead Generation: Generate new leads through personalized outreach via phone, email, social media, and industry events.
* Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to align on campaign content and contribute to shared goals.
* Pipeline Management: Handle a global prospect pipeline across multiple time zones, maintaining a proactive approach.
* Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with prospects to aid in the progression of sales opportunities.
* Inbound Lead Qualification: Qualify incoming leads generated by marketing efforts.
* Customer Engagement: Deliver a high-quality customer experience in all interactions.
* CRM Management: Track prospecting activities in our CRM system (PipeDrive).
* Achieve Targets: Strive to meet or exceed monthly individual targets.
* Team Contribution: Share best practices with colleagues and embrace learning opportunities.
* Stay Informed: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the product and industry trends.
Essential Skills and Experience:
* Experience: Ideally, at least 1 year in a sales or customer-facing role, or a recent graduate eager to start a sales career.
* Communication Skills: Confident engaging in conversations with C-level stakeholders.
* Technical Acumen: Ability to understand and promote technical solutions effectively.
* Self-Motivation: Capable of working independently to set and reach targets.
* Resilience and Coachability: Able to take feedback constructively and persevere in a fast-paced environment.
* Team Player:
Results-oriented and committed to collaborative success.
Desirable Skills:
* Education: Degree-level education is advantageous.
* Previous Sales Experience: Experience in lead generation, sales development, or recruitment.
* Tech Interest: Familiarity with automation and AI, or a strong interest in tech, would be beneficial.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year
