Job Title : SEND Teaching Assistant
Location : Birmingham
Salary : £80 - £95 per day
Start Date : November 2024
Question 1 : Do you have experience working with children with special needs and disabilities?

Question 3 : Are you qualified Level 3 and / or a minimum of 6 months’ UK experience in an educational establishment?

As a SEND Teacher you will be working in a primary SEN school, which may include outdoor activities and many ways of teaching and supporting children.

Schools are in search of a committed and enthusiastic SEND Teaching Assistant for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term roles.

The ideal TA / Teaching Assistant should have the following :
- Level 3 qualified and / or a minimum of 6 months’ experience in an educational establishment
- Good communication skills
- A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
- Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1 :
1 and a small group basis
- Strong behaviour management skills
