A Lead Engineer Node.Js & React.JS, full stack engineer, is needed for a Trading House, who trade cross asset derivatives, who due to increased in customer demand & growth through acquisition, are now looking for senior full stack developers to re architect & rebuild, taking into account; performance & scalability, all their front end of their; Clearing, risk, click & trade platforms. In order to provide customers / traders with a clear advantage offering real-time data, insights & analytics.

For this Lead Node.Js & React.JS, Engineer role having strong experience working with React, TypeScript, Node.js is key for them.







For this role you also don't need financial services experience, The Trading House are offering to train the right candidates up, giving them exposure to building real-time trading systems. Given the seniority of this role you will have a lot of input and freedom regarding the architecture of the build.

Details for the Lead Node.Js/React.JS engineer:

- This lead role is paying up to £150,000 + Bonus + Benefits
- Hybrid working 2 days a week in London
- Closest station is Liverpool Street

The accountabilities for this role:

- Designing, coding, and testing all components of modern web applications.
- Contribute heavily to the overall architecture and design of the front end applications
- Develop solutions to a high standard that is maintainable, testable and meets the requirement’s acceptance criteria.
- Adhere to development best practices and processes.
- Communicate with team members, introduce ideas, and keep abreast of the latest technologies.






- Liaise with business users to gather application requirements.
- Ensure delivered systems are of production quality. Ensure software is adequately documented for handover to the business.

Experience needed:

- Strong experience with Design and Architecture across front end and backend systems.
- Experience designing and building event-driven user interfaces. React, Typescript.
- Experience working with Node.js on the backend
- It is advantageous if you have some exposure to C# and .NET systems (BUT this is not essential)
- GraphQL is a big plus
- Methodical approach to software architecture and design and experience employing the right design choices for a given project
