Pay : £150-230 per day (to scale)
Location : Nottingham (City Centre)
Contract : Temporary to permanent - Full-time
Are you passionate about art and design, and eager to inspire students to explore their creative talents? Bookmark Education is seeking a dedicated Art and Design Teacher to join a dynamic school in the heart of Nottingham.
This temporary role offers an exciting opportunity to engage students in a variety of artistic expressions, from visual arts to design principles.
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan and deliver stimulating art and design lessons, encompassing various techniques, media, and art history.
- Guide students in exploring different artistic styles, fostering their creativity and technical skills.
- Support students in developing their portfolio and preparing for examinations or assessments.
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages artistic exploration and expression.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the curriculum and integrate cross-disciplinary projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to nurture students' artistic growth and development.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Art, Design, Fine Arts, or a related field.
- Previous experience teaching art or working in a similar educational capacity is advantageous.
- Proficiency in various artistic mediums and techniques.
- Passion for art and design, with a demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students of varying artistic abilities.
