Role Summary :
Divett Hill Quarry, is located near Capheaton in rural Northumberland, offering a peaceful countryside environment with scenic landscapes.
Despite its tranquil setting, the quarry is just a short drive from Newcastle upon Tyne,
providing easy access to urban amenities and services.
This area is ideal for those who enjoy a balance between quiet rural living and the conveniences of city life.
We are currently seeking a motivated Quarry Operative to join our team. This role is key to our operations, ensuring the efficient extraction and processing of materials.
As part of our dynamic team, you'll contribute to the production of essential construction materials that build communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain quarry machinery and equipment.
- Ensure quality control of materials and adherence to safety protocols.
- Load materials, manage supplies, and maintain cleanliness of the site.
- Act as a responsible person on site in the manager's absence.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
- Experience in a similar role within the construction materials industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a practical, hands-on approach.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
