Ecologist
£28,000 - £35,000
Essex, UK (hybrid)
Allen & York are thrilled to be working with a multidisciplinary consultancy, providing ecological, arboricultural, and landscape services to a variety of high-profile clients across a diverse range of sectors in the UK.
Our client is looking for an enthusiastic Ecologist.
The successful candidate will assist on a variety of projects and protected species surveys, from project inception through to completion.
You will hold a relevant degree in ecology with proven experience within a professional ecological consultancy, including managing projects, undertaking surveys and assisting senior team members.
You'll have a good working knowledge of ecology,
legislation and survey techniques, including protected species surveys and mitigation, together with a solid understanding of the application of relevant protected species planning policies.
An excellent communicator, you'll be self-motivated and organised, with the ability to multi-task and work collaboratively.
A full UK driving licence is required for this role with access to your own vehicle.
