Role Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a month Developmental Clinical Nurse Specialist post in the Colorectal Department

Applications are invited from experienced Colorectal / Stoma Nurses who have first class leadership qualities and proven abilities to implement change and support the Lead Colorectal Nurse.

It is essential that you have a good understanding, knowledge base and able to work independently in order to conduct the nurse led Colorectal Cancer follow up and Stoma Clinics.







You will be expected to develop the necessary skills and education to be able to perform the nurse led 2 week wait clinic.

In the absence of the Lead you will be required to deputise and manage the service and members of the team. It is essential that you have a positive outlook and excellent communication skills, together with an ability to inspire and motivate others.

Working Pattern : hours per week.

This is a fixed term contract for months. For current NHS employees this post could be a secondment opportunity.
