Job description
This role is a full-time position in a NHS service based in Scotland; it offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist.
The trust seeks an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work Monday to Friday, 09 : 00-17 : 00. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.
Position : Consultant in Adult Psychiatry
Hours : This position is a full-time role of 37.5 hours per week
Location : Scotland
Dates : ASAP for an initial 3 months with a view to extending
We are seeking a full time Consultant Psychiatrist for our medium secure service. The candidate must have an interest and be passionate about working with Female Mental Illness.
- Able to fulfil the role of Responsible Clinician to patients.
- You must hold a CCT, or equivalent, in Forensic Psychiatry, Learning Disability or General Psychiatry.
- Meet regulatory requirements, such as GMC registration and revalidation.
- The role may include participation in our on call Rota

Skills :
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Computer literate
Requirements :
- You must have a full GMC licence to practice
- Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
- Section 12 / RC approval is essential
- Approved clinician status is desired but not essential
