Responsibilities
- Create and deliver engaging and interactive French / Spanish lessons tailored to the needs of individual students.
- Inspire and motivate students to develop a love for French / Spanish language and culture.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for improvement.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop cross-curricular initiatives and promote a rich learning environment.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, behavior, and academic achievements.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on students' progress.
- Participate in school events, staff meetings, and professional development programs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a French / Spanish teacher, ideally in a secondary school setting.
- In-depth knowledge of the French / Spanish language, culture, and curriculum.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- The ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with educational advancements.
- Eligibility to work in the UK and relevant teaching qualifications (QTS, PGCE, etc.).
