Connex Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cover Supervisor for one of our schools in Derbyshire. This full-time, fixed-term contract position offers a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience before applying for a teaching qualification.
After 12 weeks with Connex Education, you will transition to a direct contract with the school.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise classes during the short-term absence of teachers.
- Ensure a positive and productive learning environment.
- Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and materials.
- Maintain classroom discipline and manage student behaviour.
- Provide support to students to enhance their learning experience.
Requirements :
- Must have a degree in any subject.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a classroom effectively.
- Passion for education and supporting students’ learning.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
