Economics Teacher Opportunity - Tower Hamlets Secondary School
On behalf of our esteemed client, a high-performing secondary school in Tower Hamlets, we are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Economics Teacher to join their faculty starting in September.
This is a full-time, permanent position offering a competitive salary aligned with the MPS / UPS scale.
The Role :
As an Economics Teacher,
you will be responsible for delivering an engaging and rigorous curriculum to students across Key Stages 4 and 5.
You will inspire a passion for Economics, equipping students with the knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary for academic success and future endeavors.
Responsibilities :
- Design and deliver inspiring Economics lessons to KS4 and KS5 students.
- Develop innovative lesson plans and assessments aligned with the school's curriculum objectives.
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Economics department and across the wider school community.
- Participate in professional development activities to continuously enhance your teaching practice and expertise.
Qualifications and Experience :
- A degree in Economics or a related field.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Economics at the secondary level (KS4 and / or KS5).
- A strong understanding of the UK Economics curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
