An Overview of the Role
As part of the Digital Engineering team in Invent you will work on high profile,
impactful projects with industry leading organisations to helping them to define the journey to transforming the way in which organisations develop and manufacture products and then support and maintain those products throughout their lifecycle.
You will use your knowledge and experience to help our clients understand how they can effectively exploit product lifecycle management to deliver business value through their wider end to end value chain.
The work is varied and you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of client facing projects across multiple industry sectors.
Projects may touch on various aspects of the management of products throughout their lifecycle ranging from product design and development, product manufacture and through life product support and maintenance.
You will use technical and business knowledge together with Industry 4.0 and 5.0 concepts to help clients develop the justifications for change together with defining the aspects they need to put in place to realise their ambitions which would cover transformation roadmaps and business cases, operating model design and solution architectures.

You will help our clients to design, build, deploy, manage complex transformation programs leveraging IT / OT, SCADA technologies.
You will be instrumental in delivering the organisation,
process and technology changes driving value to the stakeholders.
As part of an experienced and flexible project delivery team, you will leverage real-world industry transformation experience to help clients achieve operational benefits and process improvements.
We are looking for candidates whose experience aligns with the following :
- Defining client strategy, solution scoping and executing organisational transformation, focusing on exploiting OT and SCADA technologies.
- Shape, scale and drive complex transformation programs.
- Experience utilising OT and SCADA technologies for designing and implementing control systems.
- Implementing analytics for Asset Performance Management,
leveraging SCADA and OT data to help our clients create value from predictive and prescriptive maintenance.
- Defining future business and organisation models whilst developing an integrated view of people, technology, and information impacts.
- Defining project scope and objectives, facilitate workshops to define and prioritise requirements, agree outcomes and programme risks.
- Owning and delivering workstreams within transformation programmes, incorporating SCADA and OT to drive business insights and create value.
- Working on Project Management Activities including tracking of project budget, deliverables, and resources, managing vendor relationships, mitigating project risks, and managing project change requests.
As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth,

- Business Development Leading / contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
- Internal Contribution Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
- Learning & Development Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
We'd Love To Meet Someone With
You will be able to evidence experience / knowledge from the list below :
- Working in a consultancy or deploying internal improvement initiatives within an organisation and have a strong understanding and experience of asset and material management.
- Working on projects from the gas and electrical domains. Defining and implementing control rooms within these industries is desirable.
- You will understand the industry best practice and can use this to support our clients in the optimisation of their Control Systems.
- You will have experience in (digital) transformation programme design and delivery and have a good appreciation of the business change implications of these initiatives.
- Good practical experience in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), digital twin, automation and control, connected assets, cloud solutions and data analytics.
- Experience in one or more digital automation and control systems, especially in OSI PI, PTC, Aspen, Ignition, ICONICS etc.
