Responsibilities :
Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant,
deputising for the General Manager when they are not on shift
Undertake all Duty Manager responsibilities where
relevant / needed
Ensure your Duty Managers have an up to date Talent
Pipeline for their departments with training needs and succession plans
Hold monthly reviews with all Department Managers
reporting to you to ensure all KPI’s are being achieved. Report each meeting to
General Manager
Manage monthly results from Department manager
KPI’s
Manage customer satisfaction regularly using the
tools available, ensuring all guest feedback is dealt with in a professional
and efficient manner.
Alongside the General Manager, conduct probation's
and appraisals to monitor full team performance and development.
Track team turnover monthly and ensure it stays
below the company target.
Ensure Recruitment processes are adhered to at all
times including all paperwork and onboarding process for new starters.
Create and maintain a safe and comfortable working
environment for all staff to flourish in.
Ensure staff records are kept up to date with
training, absences, lateness, holidays etc.
Manage the results from all departmental Health
Checks to ensure actions plans are being worked on.
Required Qualifications &
Experience :
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Team management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Meticulous attention to detail, highly organised
and capable of handling multiple tasks
A proactive self-starter who can work independently
with good judgement and minimal direction
