The Role (Part-Time) :
This exciting opportunity allows you to play a crucial role in shaping the future tech minds of tomorrow. You'll be responsible for :
- Captivating the Classroom :
- Design and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons that spark curiosity, ignite a passion for coding, and promote problem-solving and computational thinking skills.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, hands-on learning (if applicable), technology integration, and real-world applications, to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Prepare students for success in relevant A-Level Computer Science examinations
- Building Confidence in Coding :
- Develop students' programming skills and nurture their understanding of computer science principles.
- Encourage students to tackle challenges, persevere through difficulties, and develop a growth mindset.
- Fostering a Love for Technology :
- Implement effective strategies to develop students' critical thinking, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities within the context of computer science.
- Provide constructive feedback and personalized guidance to help students achieve their full academic potential.
- Utilize differentiated instruction to foster an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
We're Looking For :
- A qualified Computer Science Teacher with experience teaching in a sixth form or similar setting.
- A demonstrable passion for Computer Science and a commitment to inspiring a love for coding in young people.
- Excellent subject knowledge across all areas of the A-Level Computer Science curriculum.
- Strong pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated Computer Science lessons.
- A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
