VANRATH are recruiting a Senior Quantity Surveyor to work for an established bespoke fit-out company in Antrim, Northern Ireland
Remuneration :
£Competitive DOE + Package
Working Hours :
Monday to Friday - 8 : 30am to 5 : 30pm Monday to Thursday Friday 8 : 30am to 3pm

Our client is a leading bespoke fit out company delivering on projects across Northern Ireland.
They have a great opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join them on a permanent basis, working in Antrim.

Responsibilities :
- Receive successful tender documents from the Commercial Department
- Scrutinise cost breakdowns for every manufacture item required
- Preparation of project budget for joinery workshop
- Value and agree the cost of any variations
- Prepare cost, value and reconciliation monthly reports on each assigned project
- With regards to estimate build up costs for each element of the work, identify labour, material requirements and source and obtain quotations where applicable.
- Liaise with purchasing / buying for specialist providers
- Attend internal hand-over meetings
- Provide feedback information to the Commercial Department regarding tender values vs. actual costs
- Undertake any other duties and projects allocated,
which are within the individual's sphere of Knowledge, experience or competency
The Ideal Person :
- Candidates must possess a third level qualification in a relevant discipline; Quantity Surveying, building or construction / manufacturing
- Excellent IT skills, knowledge / understanding of spreadsheets and / or estimating software
- Experience in a similar role
