Clinical Education Support Officer
Are you an experienced administrator with interest and experience of clinical education programmes? Are you an excellent communicator who is adaptable and organised?
Are you able to effectively analyse and manipulate data?
The School of Dentistry provides undergraduate and postgraduate clinical and non-clinical education.
This role will support the School’s student education strategy of delivering high quality clinical education. Key to this is the management of clinical placement activity and the ongoing monitoring of student clinical progress and experience data.
This enables evidence-based decisions on student progress,
most crucially at the stage of Sign-Off’ to determine whether individual final year students have met all necessary requirements before entering the General Dental Council register as an independent practitioner.
This is an opportunity to work with a dedicated team of supportive clinical academic colleagues with the aim of preparing the next generation of dental professionals, ensuring that they graduate as highly competent, safe practitioners.
This role will support ongoing and day-to-day management of the School’s clinical placement activity, and the processes and procedures involved in recording and monitoring individual student clinical experience data.
The role will involve reporting to School committees, providing data analysis reports, and supporting ongoing quality assurance processes.
