As a Tax Knowledge Lawyer, you'll work closely with the Tax Knowledge Counsel, business development, and Legal Ops teams to elevate the knowledge function within the department. The role covers key areas like public and private M&A;, equity capital markets, and corporate restructuring. You will be responsible for delivering training, refining knowledge resources, and supporting the firm's reputation as a thought leader in the sector. This position is ideal for those looking to balance technical expertise with strategic influence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor industry developments, provide insights, and maintain up-to-date knowledge resources, including capturing and managing transaction know-how.
- Support fee earners at all levels with complex technical queries and create relevant precedents aligned with market trends and legal changes.
- Design and deliver tailored training programmes for the Tax team and other departments, promoting knowledge-sharing and professional growth.
- Develop client-facing materials, such as articles and briefings, to enhance the firm's reputation as a thought leader in tax.
- Collaborate on cross-departmental initiatives and drive business development efforts, working closely with the marketing team to engage clients effectively.
This role is ideal for a UK Qualified Solicitor with at least 5 years' PQE, particularly those with experience in Transactional Tax and a background in a leading City firm. You'll need excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and a proactive approach to managing and sharing knowledge. Strong technical expertise,
