Sam, 18, who lives in Auchencairn at present but is soon to move to New Abbey is looking for a personal assistant to help support him with college and to attend activities. You must have access to your own transport due to the rural location and you will be expected to take Sam to his activities and on the odd occasion take Sam to college, or cover the at home online college work/homework also.
Sam’s interests include going to the gym, racket ball, fishing, walking, swimming and gaming.
The support is for 10 hours per week (12 hours in the holidays) and is paid at £12.00 per hour.
Working with this Sam:
- Experience with Young Adults an advantage.
- Friendly and patient and a good communicator
- Paediatric First aid and training with epilepsy would be advantageous but training can be provided.
- Flexible Working
- Clean Driving License and own transport essential
- This post is subject to a PVG check.
