Emanuel Care
Colchester
We have a great opportunity at Emanuel Care for individuals who are passionate, caring, and have a genuine desire to help others and make a positive impact in people's lives. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate care workers who enjoy interacting with the elderly and the most vulnerable in our community.
We understand and value the happiness of each team member within Emanuel Care; this is why we have created a healthy working environment where each team member is valued, respected, and supported. We have an "open door policy" to allow any concerns to be voiced directly to management and acted upon.
Reasons why you should join us:
- Stability:
During these hard and unprecedented times caused by the pandemic and increasing cost of living, we have continued to grow, providing crucial support to vulnerable people within our community.
- Time: We ensure that each visit has sufficient time to carry out the tasks required, with travel time also being considered and compensated. We provide fixed hours to guarantee your working hours.
- Local Work: The majority of the care we provide is within the Colchester area, which means travel times are minimized.
- Transport: We offer a company car to those who carry out home visits. The running cost, maintenance, and insurance are covered and paid for by us.
- Support: We ensure that all members of our team are supported. We provide a shadowing phase and supervised visits to allow new team members to be introduced to the people we support, familiarize themselves with the setting, and feel comfortable carrying out the care plan. We ensure that you do not feel alone by having on-call support.
- Financial Reward:
We ensure our team members are well rewarded for their hard work through bonuses and competitive salaries. All training is paid.
Duties and Responsibilities:
All duties will be carried out within the homes of the people we support with the guidance of the care plan tailored for each individual. Duties will include:
- Assist with personal care
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Assist with medication
- Carry out simple domestic tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking
- Companionship and emotional support
