About the Role

Are you a Qualified Primary Teacher?

Connex Education are working with primary schools in Stockport that may need supply, temporary cover on a daily/weekly/termly basis. This can be covering in EYFS, this may be in Nursery or Reception classes. This will be given upon assignment.

Whilst covering in either a Nursery or Reception class you would be expected to take on the following responsibilities:

- Deliver high quality sessions, these are usually pre-planned but you will be informed if you require your own lesson plans
- Support children at snack time
- Engage with children in indoor and outdoor provisions
- Maintain Safeguarding standards






- Deploy support staff if required

Pay scale is dependent on experience and level of qualification.

Person Specification

- Have a teaching qualification (BA/PGCE)
- You MUST hold UK QTS
- Experience in schools in the UK
- Be confident in working with potentially challenging behaviour
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to provide a new one
