Are you a skilled Business Analyst looking for a new challenge? Our client, a leading organisation in Belfast, Northern Ireland, is seeking a talented individual to join their small but impactful team for a 6 month initial contract. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a highly visible and strategically focused team.
- Belfast (3 days onsite 2 days remote)
- Daily rate: up to £300 inside IR35 via umbrella
? Key Responsibilities:
Conduct business analysis and reporting for Cost & Pricing and Sector Management functions.
Assist with the Apptio Migration for IT Financial Operations Management functions.
Collaborate with stakeholders during the visioning and concept development of initiatives.
Facilitate interview sessions and requirements gathering meetings to effectively analyse business needs.
Develop detailed specifications for product features to ensure clear understanding by the Development team.
Assess value, develop cases, and prioritise stories, epics, and initiatives aligned with the business strategy.
? Development Value:
Join a truly global team, providing support to senior stakeholders.
Play a leading role in cost transparency and activity-based costing and pricing.
Gain expertise in financial and data systems, such as General Ledgers, financial reporting, and cost modelling.
? Skills:
Preferably experience with Apptio migration, configuration, coding, and reporting.
Strong background in financial and data systems.
Extensive experience as a business systems analyst.
Excellent stakeholder management skills.
Proficiency in defining and launching operational or financial processes.
Project Management experience, particularly in cross-functional projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
? Qualifications/Background:
Bachelor's Degree related to computer information systems or equivalent.
Competent in business analysis.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Relevant experience in financial and cost-related projects, preferred.
Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
Strategic, analytical, and logical thinker with excellent organisation abilities.
Excellent planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Attention to detail with a creative mindset.
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, end-users, Scrum Masters, and Scrum Teams.
