A well-established business with a sports and amenity division are seeking a proven sales person. Making the most of your ground care knowledge you will work as part of a small team to maintain and expand their client portfolio.
This role would offer the right candidate the opportunity to work alongside some of the most prestigious sporting grounds in the UK.
Over the decades, this family-run business has become one of the UKs leading sports turf contractors. They are looking to add a Technical Sales & Business Development Manager to their successful team due to increased demand.
This company offers a full and extensive range of groundcare,
amenity and infrastructure services to a diverse range of clients across London and the Home Counties, from prestigious schools to elite level, iconic sports venues.
With a strong commercial mindset and ability to build relationships with a broad spectrum of potential clients, you will be maintaining and generating new business opportunities covering all aspects of sports and amenity projects.
Key responsibilities :
Research the market and contact potential new customers.
Expand relationships with existing customers and advise them of additional services and products.
Visiting customer sites, putting together proposals and pricing projects.
Drawing up tenders and quotations.
Maintaining accurate, relevant CRM records.
Serve as the link of communication between our customers and the project managers.
Ordering materials for renovation work.
Requirements :
Preferably a background in grounds maintenance / agriculture / construction
Excellent communication skills
The ability to think out side of the box
Proven sales experience and commercial mindset
Previous experience in the amenity sector would be desirable
