The Opportunity
The Business Development Manager is essential for securing and maintaining new business for Optimus and LIG. You will be responsible for key account management, generating conveyancing and survey sales from brokers and estate agents, based in the South East of England, to hit the agreed sales targets.
The role will include :
- Generating targeted sales growth by targeting new and existing intermediary accounts (Mortgage brokers / Estate Agents).
- Ensuring KPI’s are met by making outbound sales calls with new and existing accounts.
- Increasing active users and user performance by providing support and account management.
- Building new and existing broker / estate agent relationships through account management and client interaction.
- Generating first instructions from new accounts.
- Maintaining and upkeeping of the business CRM systems, ensuring all activity is logged and documented.
- Setting up and demonstrating system / product presentations to provide clients with a fully inclusive overview of the Optimus portal.
- Supporting management of large account to help with their growth.
About You
To be successful as the Business Development Manager,
you will be a self-starter who is an expert in the property market.
You will be comfortable in a remote environment and be able to manage and prioritise your diary.
You will also be / have :
- Used to consistently hitting KPIs and targets
- Strong customer service knowledge.
- Ability to effectively communicate to customers and suppliers.
- An understanding of the residential conveyancing market and the process of house sales and purchases, with a background of selling into the Broker and / or Lender market.
- Be educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
- B2B Field based sales experience.
- Ideally based in South East England.
