Theyare seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to jointheir exceptional Science department in a fulltime permanentposition.
PositionSummary :
The successful candidatewill have the opportunity to contribute to the schools continuedsuccess by inspiring and nurturing young scientific minds.
Thisrole involves delivering engaging and informative lessons acrossKey Stages 3 and 4 fostering a love for science and equippingstudents with essential scientific knowledge andskills.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Designand deliver highquality Science lessons that align with thenational curriculum and the schools high academicstandards.
- Create a dynamic and inclusiveclassroom environment that promotes student engagement curiosityand a passion for scientific inquiry.
- Assessstudent progress provide constructive feedback and implementpersonalized learning strategies to maximize individualpotential.
- Collaborate effectively withcolleagues within the Science department and the wider schoolcommunity to enhance the curriculum and contribute toextracurricular activities.
- Stay abreast ofcurrent pedagogical approaches and developments in Scienceeducation.
Qualifications&Experience; :
- Bachelorsdegree or higher in a Sciencerelated field (Biology ChemistryPhysics or General Science).
- Qualified TeacherStatus (QTS) or equivalent teachingcertification.
- Proven experience teachingScience at the secondary level ideally across Key Stages 3 and4.
IdealCandidate :
- Passionateabout Science and its realworld applications with a strongcommitment to student success.
- Possessesexcellent communication interpersonal and organizationalskills.
- Ability to work collaboratively andindependently demonstrating initiative andadaptability.
- A strong understanding ofeffective teaching methodologies and assessmentstrategies.
