Overview :
Provide a complete service to the Banks Customers to a high levelof administration and service.
Ensure that transactionsallocated are properly implemented independently controlled anddiligentlymonitored.
Work together with your team clientsrelationship managers / marketing / account officers andotherdepartments of the Bank where necessary.
Familiarizeoneself with different products and process methods in accordancewith policies and procedures.
To provide a professionaland timely response to enquiries received from internal andexternal customers ofthedepartment.
WhatYou Will Be Doing :
CoreReceivable duties :
Process daily administrationduties under Master Receivable Financing Agreements includingprocessingdrawdowns checking drawdown documentation and limits ratefixes discount calculations fees maturityextensions paymentscancellation receipt of funds allocation of funds credit notesearly repays and partpayments in accordance with agreed anddocumented processes and guided by experienced team members.
Position and create payments in relation to ReceivableTrade Finance Products within currency cut off times.
Escalation of breaches red flags and other issues includingnonperforming transactions to your reportingline / Head ofDepartment / Support manager in accordance with documented processes.
Any OREs to bereported to your reporting line / Head ofDepartment / Support Managerimmediately.
Other :
Familiarize oneself with different Banks systems.
To logorganize and prioritize all work received.
Check Nostroand Type 25 account Reconciliations to ensure any outstanding itemsrelating to Receivables areactioned confirm allocation of fundswith Receivable clients and arrange onward payment for fundsreceived notfinanced.
Mature contracts for early repayments matchlate receipts and identify and chase shortfalls inpayment.
Update suspense spreadsheet as necessary andreconcile suspense accounts to URBIS on a monthly basis.
Arrange for payments to be made in accordance with authenticinstructions.
Monitor / chase outstanding funds daily anddiarize as necessary.
Liaise with Finance forreconciliation.
Populate Narratives in Corona on Statusfor outstanding funds daily
Assist in Project work forthe department Qualco Project related activities
MaintainReceivables Database / Trading Platforms (if applicable) Rohirst andrelevant checklists.
Prepare document location formsDOCSLOCS for the safe custody of original documentation and ensurethey arestored in the safe or the vault.
AdHoc duties asrequested by Senior Officer Head of Department / SupportManager(s).
CandidateSpecification :
Basic knowledge of word and excel skills.
It ishighly desirableif the candidate has previouswork experience in aTrade Finance function.
The ability to remaincalm whilst under pressure from the business and clients.
Accurate and methodical.
Good communication andorganizational skills.
The ability to work independentlyor as part of a team.
Foreign language skills are anadvantage.
