Global fundraising agency seeks experienced Finance Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract beginning in September 2024.

A world-leading fundraising agency specialising in TV, film and radio campaigns is looking for a can-do Finance Manager from this September.

With offices in London, Seoul, Sydney, Hong Kong and Vienna, they work with more than 30 NGOs in over 25 countries, fundraising for a wide range of causes from child and animal welfare to conservation and the environment.
The Finance Manager role
This role reports into the Finance Director with dotted line into the CEO, and you will be representing finance on the agency’s leadership team.
You’ll lead a busy finance team of three, based in Hong Kong, Sydney and London, and ensure smooth financial processes throughout the agency by building strong relationships with Account Management, Creative, Post-Production and Media teams across all offices.
Your remit will include
- Managing monthly and annual forecasts
- Ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Monitoring expenditures and identifying areas for efficiency improvements
- Managing payroll and pensions
- VAT and Non-Union OSS submissions
- Managing month-end and year-end controls, reconciliations etc
- Ensuring compliance with internal controls, policies and procedures across the agency’s offices worldwide
- Liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
What’s required
- ACCA / ACA qualified or demonstrably qualified by experience
- Understanding of IFRS Standards and VAT rules and regulations
- Ability to work with multi-currencies
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to flourish in an informal working environment
- Strong level of Microsoft Excel (essential)
- Experience of Sage (desirable)
- Media agency or production / post-production accounts experience would help (TV ads and film are the agency’s core outputs)
- Fundraising experience. An understanding of the charity sector would be highly desirable
Work from home policy
60% of your time will be spent in the agency's gorgeous Central London offices, 40% at home.
Salary and benefits
£55k £60k depending on experience.
