What you will work on

The Technical Support Consultant will reinforce Itineris UK Support Team in which he / she will be responsible for supporting highly interactive, innovative applications for our standard UMAX solution , using the latest Microsoft technologies (X++).







The role is based in UK (on site & remote) and requires relevant X++ development experience .

You will be part of the Service Delivery Team. This team provides 2nd & 3rd line functional and technical support to our customers after their go live .

The Team is responsible for Application Management, Support and Maintenance, and for the overall satisfaction of end users about the UMAX functionalities .

It monitors the high availability of the functionalities, makes sure there are no disruptions in use, and guarantees high reachability for user help requests (incidents & bugs) and short lead times for standard and non-standard changes.

UMAX is the brand name of our software solution for water and energy utilities. It automates their business processes and enables them to better engage with their customers.

UMAX is a cloud-based solution, built on the powerful Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.

As our Technical Support Consultant MS D365, you

- Are part of a Support team that focuses on specific modules within UMAX.






- Participate in the analysis and resolution of Customer tickets and requests .
- Propose, prepare and implement high-quality technical solutions for incident and change management .
- Evaluate the technical feasibility .
- Improve applications in compliance with functional and technical designs.
- Review the X++ code of your fellow developers to ensure the Itineris coding guidelines are applied.
- Guarantee the generalization / standardization of the minimal solution to obtain a re-usable component in MS Dynamics AX.
- Act as a technical reference for functional consultants, service delivery managers and business development.
- Apply your expertise to deliver high quality development work, according to the Itineris standards in an efficient and effective way.






- Document your work in a structured and transparent way.
- Participate in the outside business hours s tandby schedule to ensure the resolution of incidents.
- Respect all agreements between Itineris and the Customer , as set in the eXperience & Service Level Agreement (XLA / SLA) document.

What you bring

- A higher degree, preferably in Computer Science .
- Strong MS Dynamics development experience .
- Min. 1 year of MS Dynamics 365 development experience.
- Knowledge of X++ .
- Project delivery / ERP implementation experience.
- Experience with different products from the Microsoft Azure technology stack (Security, Logicapp solutions, Log analytics workspace ).
- Experience of set up and management of Azure cloud environments .

- A keen interest in the Utility sector .
- Excellent English oral & written communication skills.
- Willing to travel regularly to the clients premises (Reading).
- UK residents only (no Visa sponsorships).
