Role Summary

Robin Ling Ward is looking for a Band 6 Ward Sister / Charge Nurse.

We are looking for an enthusiastic addition to our team, who will be well supported by an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager.

Robin Ling Ward is a well-staffed and managed ward, with a proven record for providing patients with high quality, safe, effective care.

Essentially, we care for patients who have undergone emergency orthopaedic surgery following either admission for a traumatic injury or orthopaedic trauma planned procedures.

Sometimes, when organisational needs dictate, we care for other patient groups and our skill set and team is well trained to do this.

We are a friendly,





experienced team where we place a high emphasis on supporting each other, team work and ensuring a harmonious work / life balance.

This post would be an excellent opportunity for a Band 5 looking for promotion and development, or for an existing Ward Sister / Charge Nurse looking for a new challenge with us here on Robin Ling Ward.

The overall purpose of the Band 6 role is to provide clinical and managerial leadership to the nursing and multi-professional team.







This includes acting as a clinical leader and an expert practitioner liaising, guiding and advising the multidisciplinary team and external agencies in the provision of optimum patient care.

Working Pattern : hours per week. Long days / weekends
