Job Title : Campaigns and Content Manager

Salary : 42-50K per annum (Band 6 Equivalent)

Responsible To : Head of Communications and Engagement

Hours : 22.5 hours per week

Who We Are

Healthcare Central London Ltd (HCL) is a federation of 32 General Practices and 4 Primary Care Networks (PCNS) in Westminster caring for more than 275,000 registered patients.







We provide Community and Primary Care services to our local residents, in addition to a wide range of staffing, management and administrative support to our member practices.

By working closely with our PCNs and other key partners, including the Local Authority and community Organisations, we help people to stay well and live healthier lives for longer.

We operate Federation-led services including Respiratory and Spirometry hubs; Community Cardiology; Community Dermatology;

Community Diabetes service; Access E-hub and Enhanced Access and we support PCNs with managing their NWL single offer contract of services and the National Network DES contract, including ARRS roles.

We are proud to have a unique model of community-led care and support to tackle imbalances and inequality in the system called The Octopus’ and takes us on a journey as part of the Westminster Integrated Neighborhood Team (INT)

We work collaboratively with other partners in the commercial sector including joint ventures; research and consultancy.

Our employees work flexibly according to the needs of our customers, typically onsite at our practices, or hub sites including South Westminster Centre or at our office at Capital House near Edgeware Road tube station.

Role Summary

We need a Campaigns and Content Manager to run and implement content creation across multiple parts of the business. You will be working across the organisation to develop creative material such as articles, social media posts, posters and website content.







You’ll work with various team leads to identify what content is needed for the audience and how it should be delivered.

Working closely with the Head of Communications and Engagement, you’ll think strategically about how content can be used to enhance the Federation’s reputation, promote staff excellence and demonstrate the high-quality care we provide to patients and our member Practices.

The primary focus of the role is on internal material development but there is scope to work on media relations and / or digital marketing campaigns to promote our services.

We’re looking for someone with big ideas who can help us demonstrate our leadership in Primary Care innovation.

Role Requirements and Responsibilities







Develop a content hub of evergreen content related to our roles and services that can be shared within the Federation and with our member Practices content to be repurposed in multiple formats e.

g. posters, website content, articles, newsletter posts

- Draft content for weekly newsletter and monthly partners’ newsletter
- Work with Federation teams to understand their communications needs and develop material as needed
- Support the Head of Communications with media relations outreach including development of press releases and pitches where needed for campaigns
- Support Business Development with pitches, sales reports or packages
- Manage and update content on HCL / CLH and Practice websites
- Create content calendar for regular HCL social media content
- Act as a brand guardian, ensuring best use of our brand voice and visuals






- Support Head of Communications and Engagement with brainstorming ideas and developing strategy that supports the overall business vision and values
- Support Head of Communications with digital marketing or paid advertising support where needed to promote training or services

Requirements

Person Specification

Qualifications and Experience

Essential

5+ years’ experience in communications, journalism, marketing communications or a related field

Desirable

- Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, communications, creative writing or journalism
- Experience with WordPress and its associated plugins
- Experience running digital marketing campaigns via Google and / or Meta

Knowledge

Essential

- Working knowledge in healthcare, preferably within Primary Care
- Extensive knowledge in developing communications campaigns and writing content in multiple formats






- Working knowledge of using creative tools such as Canva, Loom, Adobe etc.

Desirable

- Knowledge of contacts within UK health media
- Knowledge of accessible communications guidelines and best practice

Skills

Essential

- Excellent written communications skills and strong creative content skills such as poster design, video editing, social media management, etc.
- Ability to manage various projects independently by being agile, proactive and reactive
- Strong skills managing creative projects and content
- Good internal networker skills, willing to make connections within teams and services to support content development
- Has the ability and is happy to get stuck in and problem solve
