Job Description
Working hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 12:45pm.
- Receiving, unpacking and sorting patient samples.
- Dispose of general and clinical waste, including sharps, and ensure workbenches are clean and tidy.
- Receiving and receipting stock when needed.
- Check stock levels of reagents and consumables and communicate when stock levels are getting low.
- Maintaining stores area to an acceptable standard.
- Adhering to SOP’s, work instructions and Quality Management system (QMS).
- Reporting any non-conformances or near misses using local and company QMS and health and safety systems.
- Taking responsibility for the Health and Safety of yourself and your colleagues.
- Communicating effectively to team members to ensure a smooth flow of work through the laboratory process.
- Working in accordance with Eurofins values of customer focus, competence and team spirit, quality, and integrity
Qualifications
- Must have a good general education and must be numerate and literate with good command of spoken and written English
- Scientific knowledge.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office and good keyboard skills
- Highly Proficient with Microsoft Office
- Data entry skills.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Good time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow procedure.
- General computer skills using the internet.
