You will be responsible for delivering engaging andstimulating Maths lessons across the curriculum catering to KeyStage 3 / 4 / 5 in line with the NationalCurriculum.
KeyResponsibilities :
- CurriculumDelivery :
- Plandeliver and evaluate engaging and challenging Maths lessons thatcater to a diverse range of abilities and learningstyles.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methodsto ensure all students develop a deep understanding of mathematicalconcepts and can apply them effectively.
- Integrate technology effectively to enhance learning andstudent engagement.
- Assessment andFeedback :
- Design andimplement effective assessment strategies to monitor studentprogress and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide clear constructive feedback that helps studentsdevelop their mathematical skills and confidence.
- CurriculumDevelopment :
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the Mathscurriculum ensuring it aligns with the schools vision nationalrequirements and the latest advancements in Mathseducation.
- Stay abreast of current trends andbest practices in Maths pedagogy implementing innovative approachesto enhance student learning.
- Supporting StudentDevelopment :
- Buildstrong and positive relationships with students fostering theirconfidence and enjoyment of Maths.
- Providetargeted support and intervention strategies to ensure all studentsachieve their full potential.
- Promote a growthmindset and encourage a love of learning.
- Collaboration andTeamwork :
- Collaborate effectively with other members of the Mathsdepartment to share best practices and ensure a consistent approachto teaching and learning.
- Contribute to thewider school community and participate in departmental andwholeschool events.
