Are you a qualified Welsh speaking Teacher with a passion for education? We are seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic Welsh Teacher to join our secondary school in the Bridgend area.
The school requires a dedicated educator to ignite students’ enthusiasm for the Welsh language. This role offers an exciting opportunity to empower students to excel in their studies and become part of a vibrant secondary school!
Key Responsibilities :
- Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality lessons that align with the curriculum and cater to the individual needs of students.
- Foster an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
- Assess and track student progress,
providing constructive feedback and tailored support.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop effective teaching strategies and share best practices.
- Prepare students for assessments and examinations, equipping them with the skills and confidence needed for success.
Qualifications and Skills :
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Ability to teach through the medium of Welsh.
- Proven experience teaching Welsh to GCSE level.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the curriculum in Wales.
- Effective classroom management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Dedication to cultivating students' language and literary skills and a genuine enthusiasm for the subject.
Working Hours :
This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, following the school's operating hours.
