Location : York, North Yorkshire

Start Date : November 2024

Salary : £125 £160 per day

GSL Education’s North Yorkshire branch is looking to appoint an ambitious, energetic, and passionate Teacher of Physical Education to work at an Outstanding Client Secondary School located in York, North Yorkshire .

As a Supply Teacher of PE, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and accessible Physical Education lessons to students across Key stages 3,4 and 5.

You will play a key role in promoting physical activity, teamwork, and personal development, while ensuring that all students, regardless of their abilities, feel included and supported.

Teacher of Physical Education Requirements :







- A recognised UK teaching qualification, such as a PGCE or equivalent, with a specialism in Physical Education.
- A degree in Sports Science, Physical Education, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience teaching GCSE and BTEC Physical Education.
- Strong understanding of physical education curriculum requirements, sports coaching techniques, and fitness principles.
- Experience working in SEN settings or with students who have additional needs is desirable.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies, with the ability to follow school procedures and ensure student safety.
- An Enhanced DBS registered to the update service. GSL Education can offer DBS sponsorship.
