- An inspiring Year 1 teacher who can deliverengaging lessons tailored to the needs of Year1 learners.
- Someone who ispassionate about developing literacy and numeracy skills throughinteractive and creative teaching methods suitable for a Year 1 classroom.
- A teacher who is committed tofostering a positive inclusive and engaging Year1 environment where every child feels valued andsupported.
- An individual who can managebehaviour effectively in a Year 1 setting and work collaboratively with other staff members toenhance the overall learning experience forchildren.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Planand deliver engaging and ageappropriate lessons following the KeyStage 1 curriculum focusing on building strong foundations for Year 1 pupils in reading writing andnumeracy.
- Promote the social and emotionaldevelopment of each Year 1 childencouraging them to build confidence form friendships and develop alove for learning.
- Assess and track Year 1 pupils progress tailoring yourteaching approach to meet individual needs and ensuring each childreaches their full potential.
- Work closely withparents and carers providing regular feedback and updates on their Year 1 childs achievements and areasfor development.
