MacGregor Black are partnering with a Leading Toy and Retail Company, on the search for a Head of Ecommerce. This is a permanent position based in Manchester, United Kingdom.
This will be a pivotal role in driving digital acceleration through .com and marketplaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Further develop the eCommerce strategy, annual budget, and business KPIs focusing on goals for revenue, margin, and inventory.
- Provide ongoing analysis and reporting of sales and margin drivers, identifying root causes and opportunities to drive growth.
- Set and closely follow Merchandising KPIs.
- Stay up to date on the latest eCommerce technologies and trends.
- Evaluate brand campaigns and work with teams on creating effective strategies optimised to drive users and consumers to the online store.
- Oversee performance and actions of both paid and organic traffic sources.
- Maximise web usability and engagement of consumers based on quantitative and qualitative consumer data.
- Partner with Retail Merchandising and Operations teams to manage inventory health by ensuring efficient inventory flows.
- Provide strong leadership, development, and supervision to the staff in the execution of eCommerce strategies.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 6 years of hands-on eCommerce experience, with demonstrated business success. Multi-channel retail experience is a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in leading a team. Experience hiring and developing high-performance teams.
- Must have experience in working with eCommerce systems such as Salesforce commerce cloud, Hybris,
Magento or similar.
- Experience of project management through platform changes, upgrades, testing and integration of new technology, systems or service providers is a plus.
- Consumer-centric and data-driven performance mindset, Ability to see consumer perspective and serve as their advocate.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and modelling skills, with an orientation to details, at both the strategic and exceptional levels.
- Understanding of eCommerce technology, including platform, payment process, content management, etc.
- Understand key retail metrics and calendars, including markup, margin, sell thru, demand curves
