Hours: 39-hours per week – Office based
08:00am-4:30pm (Mon-Thursday); 8:00am - 3:30pm (Friday)
Salary: 28,000k-34,000k (Depending on experience)
Disrupt Talent is recruiting an experienced Sales Order Processor/Customer Services Coordinator for their client based in Coventry. Main Purpose of the Role
To efficiently manage internal sales order processing,
supply chain administration and customer service activities.
It is expected that the person undertaking this role will also provide occasional support to the Finance & Administration Coordinator and Sales Administration & Account Management Coordinator. In addition, they will also be expected to provide ad-hoc back up for other tasks to cover for holidays or peak periods of activity.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Receive effective hand over, after contract review, from Sales Administration.
Ensure all sales orders are loaded into the MRP system with achievable and agreed lead times for design and manufacture.
Where sales orders are progressing to Design, ensure all requirements have been passed across to TQ and the MRP system is updated. Monitor and progress through Design as required, ensuring design times are being met.
Where sales orders are progressing to Manufacture, ensure works orders are collated (including routings, bills of materials (BOMs) and drawings),
and that they are passed across for order review (ready for manufacture).
Proactively update customers on progress and any changes to orders/order dates.
Manage credit control processes and provide weekly reports.
Work with Quality to manage any customer complaints, ensuring they are quickly and effectively dealt with. Maintain records.
In the future, manage sales order satisfaction surveys, collating data and providing the necessary analysis to enable improvements to service.
Support the wider MP&L; team with the following activities:
Ensure inventory levels are always correct in the ERP system.
Sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet current and forecast manufacturing requirements.
Placing purchase orders with suppliers,
ensuring goods are received in-time for manufacture.
Ensuring effective production planning is in place, including the creation, monitoring and chasing of works orders.
Management of customer returns.
Adhere to the company’s quality and H&S; management system and supporting processes (ISO9001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018). Wear and use appropriate PPE when in the factory.
Support a best practice and continuous improvement culture across the company, identifying opportunities where they arise, taking ownership for driving initiatives forward, and implementing KPIs where appropriate.
Keep all other work areas clean, tidy and safe at all times.
Any other relevant activities as required by the business.

- Experience
- 3 years’ experience in sales administration and supply chain environment
- 3 years’ experience of ERP or MRP system, experience of Factory Master advantageous
- Accuracy and attention to detail
Qualifications
Relevant professional or vocational qualifications would be an advantage.
First aid qualifications would be very useful.
