Our Client Relations team are seeking to appoint an experienced Client Relations / Business Development manager, to join our Customised Programmes team.
The customised programmes team develops bespoke learning and development solutions for clients who want a programme tailored to their unique needs. The clients we serve are truly international, drawn for example from the UK, Europe, USA, Middle East, South East Asia and Australia.
The client relations manager is the main point of contact for clients and has ownership of the whole client relationship. The role has responsibility for identifying and developing new business and building the pipeline of future proposals and bids. But also for the maintenance and retention of existing clients.
Essential to this role is the ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders, including internal colleagues, representing the “voice of the customer”, to ensure the highest standards of learner and client experience.

Applicants should have a track record of achieving targets, with significant experience in client relations, or business development, and expertise in consultative selling.
The role requires excellence in building rapport, communication, influencing, listening, presentation, organisation,
account management and customer service.
Experience of programmes and / or the Higher education market is desirable, but not essential. Knowledge and experience of customised programmes on an international stage would be advantageous for this role.
As an advocate for learning and development for the Business School, applicants should similarly have a passion for their own learning and development.
