We're on the lookout for a proactive Kitchen Porter to support our Chef and help ensure the safe and efficient operation of our kitchen.
If you're passionate about cleanliness, organization, and being part of a dynamic kitchen team, this could be the perfect role for you!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Keep the Kitchen Flowing: You'll be the backbone of our operation, managing deliveries, assisting with food prep, and ensuring everything is in its place.
- Hygiene Hero: Maintain impeccable cleanliness across all areas of the kitchen,
from equipment and utensils to floors and walls.
- Stock Master: Receive deliveries, check expiry dates, rotate stock, and assist with monthly stock takes to keep everything running like clockwork.
- Safety First: Follow health and safety guidelines, handle cleaning chemicals properly, and make sure everything is stored and used safely.
- Food Prep Support: Assist with basic food prep, making sure it's all done to food safety standards.
Who You Are:
- Kitchen Enthusiast: You love the buzz of a kitchen and are passionate about keeping things running smoothly. You will have previous experience in a similar role.
- Cleanliness Guru: An eye for detail and dedication to upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Team Player: You'll communicate well with the Chef and the rest of the team, helping wherever needed.
- Punctual & Proactive: You'll always be on time, ready to roll, and eager to help the kitchen shine.
- Physically Fit:
Able to handle the physical demands of the role, including lifting and being on your feet all day.
