Pharmacy Homecare Admin Team Leader or Homecare Pharmacy Technician

Band 5

Permanent, full-time

Based at Royal London Hospital with requirement to travel to all sites when necessary.

Barts Health NHS Trust Pharmacy Homecareteam is looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking self-motivated team player to join our team.

The post holder will support the management of a team of pharmacy administrators, provision of financial and management information and delivery of a patient focused, efficient, cost effective and quality homecare service.

Pharmacy Technicians are welcome to apply.

Main duties of the job

The post holder must be ready to work in a busy environment, have excellent communication skills,





attention to detail and use of initiative.A good level of competency in IT, particularly Excel is essential.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to gain experience of the Homecare service and develop their existing skill set as well as learning new ones.

- GCSE grades A - C or 4 - 9 in: o English Language o Maths
- ILM Level 2 in leadership and team skills or equivalent

Desirable

- NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy services or equivalent






- BTEC level 3 Diploma in Principles and Practice for Pharmacy Technicians (Pharmacy Technicians only)
- Registration as a Pharmacy Technician with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) (Pharmacy Technicians only
- Level 3 Leadership and Management qualification or Equivalent
- Practice Supervisor accreditation (Pharmacy Technicians only)
- Quality improvement training
- Interview training for panel members

Experience

Essential

- Significant experience of working in pharmacy e.g. pharmacy procurement, stores, Accounts Payable (ordering, invoice reconciliation, or other finance type work)
- Experience with CRS/ EPR
- Updating, reviewing, and implementing SOPs
