An exciting opportunity has arisen for an outstanding operational leader to join an excellent Trust in a senior leadership role in mental health, supporting the Service Line with the delivery and improvement of our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and All-Age Eating Disorders (AAED) Services in South West London & St George’s MH NHS Trust. This opportunity has arisen due to the retirement of the current postholder.
The Head of Service Delivery (HoSD) will work with the service line leadership to build high-quality services and lead high-quality teams, across specialist, inpatient and community settings, working together with partners to deliver excellent care for patients.
Both CAMHS and Eating Disorders are significant priorities within the NHS Long-Term Plan and local SWL ICB Mental Health transformation plans, as well as the respective Provider Collaboratives within the South London Partnership for Mental Health. This is a great time to work in these areas.
To provide leadership and support to the Service Line Senior team, who in turn lead the staff, services, and partners of the service line, through a collaborative, visionary, motivational and problem-solving approach. They will provide clarity of vision and values, and work with the Service Line Senior team to ensure that the service line meets performance, quality and financial objectives.
The postholder will work closely with the service line leadership quartet, under the leadership of the Clinical Director, to deliver on the service line business plan, bring about quality improvements, and meet essential standards of service delivery. They will represent the service line within the Trust, and externally in partnership meetings at place,
system, and provider collaboratives.
The postholder will be expected to take a significant leadership role in the relevant areas of the Integrated Transformation Project; working closely with all service line staff, stakeholders, business and finance partners, to bring about improvements and sustainable changes in service delivery
