A leading profesional services firm in Birmingham seeks a passionate DE&I; Specialist for a maternity cover post to lead Engagement & Planning initiatives, focusing on implementing its DE&I; vision and strategy. This is a vital role in enhancing internal engagement and building meaningful relationships with external partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage DE&I; Engagement Plan: Collaborate with Communications and People Networks to ensure key DE&I; dates, reporting deadlines, and events are effectively recognized and promoted.
- Content Development: Oversee the DE&I; intranet site and produce engaging internal content (news, videos, presentations) that highlights DE&I; initiatives.
- Reporting and Insights:
Lead the delivery of DE&I; reporting, including executive summaries and compliance with external commitments, while analyzing data to inform strategy.
- Awards and Benchmarking: Support People Networks in benchmarking communications activities and draft submissions for DE&I; awards to enhance the firm's recognition.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven track record in delivering effective communications and managing intranets and social media channels.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to influence and collaborate with senior stakeholders while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for DE&I;: A genuine enthusiasm for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, with a deep understanding of cultural competence and best practices.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; fluency in English is essential
