About you:

You will be a highly motivated, imaginative and dynamic Teaching Assistant (TA) that is dedicated to improving the education and opportunities for children in schools. You are an exceptional Teaching Assistant that wants to make a real difference to the lives of children or all abilities; to be an integral part of a dedicated team; collaborate with experienced professionals to create an inclusive and nurturing educational experience for all. About the Role

Getting the classroom ready for lessons and clearing away afterwards to maintain a safe and clean environment

Assisting Teachers in preparing the lesson materials and school equipment







Recording and reporting a pupil's progress to the Teacher

Helping pupils stay focused during class hours

Supervising group activities, sports events and school outings

Helping Teachers manage student behaviour

Looking after children who are unwell or upset

Providing a healthy and safe learning environment for children

Ability to communicate clearly with Teachers and younger individuals

Ability to create an encouraging learning environment for pupils

Active listening skills

Understanding and sensitivity towards children

Excellent knowledge of lessons that pupils are required to learn in class

Ability to carry out tasks involving a computer or hand-device

Ability to remain calm during stressful situations

Willingness to work on different activities conducted inside and outside school premises

Experience working with a range of SEN

An understanding of and commitment to Safeguarding practices.

Have the drive and determination to make a difference







Have high expectations of pupils' achievement and behaviour

Be an excellent and inspirational class practitioner, who demonstrates outstanding classroom practice and who has children at the heart of all they do

Excellent communication skills

Recent and relevant experience of working with children

Excellent numeracy/ literacy skills.

Excellent behaviour management skills.

The ability to be flexible, show initiative, be reliable, creative, and enthusiastic.

Teaching assistant Level 1, 2 or 3 qualified
