Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective English lessons to students.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and growth.
- Assess students' progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans.
- Foster a love for literature and develop students' critical thinking and reading skills.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, achievements, and behavior.
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in English or a related field.
- Teaching certification or qualification in English education.
- Proven experience teaching English to students in primary or secondary education.
- Strong knowledge of the English language, literature, and grammar.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage a classroom and create a positive learning environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
- Familiarity with current teaching methodologies and resources.
- Knowledge of the National Curriculum for English (England).
- Commitment to continued professional development and growth.
