The role :
We are seeking an experienced and innovative creative to assume the role of Senior Social Content Creator.
The ideal candidate will be a creative visionary passionate about producing captivating content across social media platforms, including TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
As a senior member of our social media content team, you will drive the creation of engaging short-form, vertical video content while staying at the forefront of platform trends and innovations.
Responsibilities :
- Creative Strategy :
- Use your deep knowledge of social platforms and trends to develop creative video concepts that exceed client expectations while prioritizing audience engagement.
- Ideate and create example content for client pitches and strategy sessions, showcasing the potential of our social media offerings.
- Content Creation Oversight :
- Interpret & challenge briefs from the social media team to bring video ideas to life for our client's social media channels.
- Set the creative standard for the team, ensuring content aligns with brand identities and resonates with the target audience.
- Utilize your expertise to shoot high-quality 9 :
16 content and guide the team in creating social-first videos.
- Shoot mobile-first content using DLSR cameras, good lighting, and audio alongside shooting on mobile phones.
- Edit 9 : 16 video content within the Adobe suite as well as mobile-first apps such as capcut.
- Platform Mastery :
- Stay abreast of social media trends, challenges, and features on platforms like TikTok, Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
- Guide your team in leveraging platform tools, filters, and effects to enhance the visual appeal of content.
- Shoot Organization and Management :
- Take the lead in organizing and coordinating short-form video shoots, managing all aspects from pre-production to post-production.
- Sourcing and liaising with actors, influencers,
and production teams to ensure a seamless and efficient shoot process.
- Managing budgets for video productions optimizing resources to achieve high-quality content within financial constraints.
- Team Leadership and Development :
- Manage a small team of Content Creators and executives
- Foster a collaborative environment, supporting and mentoring junior team members in their content creation efforts.
- Ensure each team member has clear progression paths, providing guidance and opportunities for professional growth.
- Set the standard for high-quality content, maintaining accountability for individual and team deliverables.
- Collaborative Learning :
- Share ideas and knowledge with the wider social team to enhance content
Requirements
Requirements :
- Minimum four years experience in content creation
- Minimum one years experience in team management
- Demonstrated experience in shooting and editing high-quality content using a smartphone and DLSR cameras.
- Proficiency in mobile video editing apps and the Adobe suite.
Desirables :
- Track the history of building a following on TikTok or Instagram Reels
- History of creating short-form social content for household brands
