A high-achieving and inclusive mixed secondary school in West London seeks a passionate and qualified Humanities Teacher to join its dynamic department on a part-time basis, starting in September.

About the Role :

This exciting opportunity allows a dedicated and enthusiastic educator to inspire the next generation of learners. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons across a range of humanities subjects (mention specific subjects if applicable), catering to students at various levels.

Key Responsibilities :

- Curriculum Delivery with Passion :
- Design and deliver engaging humanities lessons that promote a deep understanding of historical events, geographical concepts, religious traditions, and key philosophical ideas.
- Utilize a variety of teaching methods, including interactive activities, discussions, research projects, debates (if applicable),





and technology integration, to cater to diverse learning styles.
- Foster a love for learning about the human experience and cultivate critical thinking, analysis, and communication skills in students.
- Prepare students for success in relevant GCSE and A-Level examinations (if applicable).
- Promoting Broader Understanding (Optional) :
- Contribute to the planning and execution of enrichment activities such as museum visits, guest speakers, or historical reenactments to enhance student learning (if applicable).
- Assessment and Support :
- Implement effective assessment strategies to evaluate student progress in their understanding of humanities subjects, critical thinking skills, and communication abilities.






- Provide constructive feedback and personalized guidance to support students in achieving their full academic potential.
- Utilize differentiated instruction to cater to diverse learning needs and foster an inclusive learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate :

- A qualified Humanities Teacher with a minimum of 2 years' successful teaching experience in a secondary school setting.
- A demonstrable passion for the humanities and a commitment to fostering a love for learning about history, geography, religion, and philosophy in young people.
- Strong subject knowledge across various humanities disciplines (mention specific subjects if applicable).
- Excellent pedagogical skills and the ability to design and deliver engaging, interactive, and differentiated lessons.






- A commitment to high standards and the ability to create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
