We’re looking for a multi-tasking Senior Electrical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in the design of grid and substation projects.
- Experience with big ticket projects
- Design solutions to challenges involving medium voltage and protection coordination
- SCADA, Autocad, PVSyst, DigiSilent, and Homer proficiency

Education Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering from a reputable university
Experience Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in the design and delivery of solar PV and energy storage systems
- Proven track record of experience with medium voltage and protection coordination
Responsibilities
The role involves overseeing electrical and mechanical design and specifications, managing engineering deliverables, and designing for low and medium voltage systems.
It also includes ensuring regulatory compliance, particularly with SAT and FAT standards, as well as CAD and SCADA design.
Additionally, the position involves specifying electrical protection and earthing systems, preparing tenders and proposals, and adhering to company ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 processes.
Other duties may be required as per company needs.
Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD, PVSyst, DigiSilent, Homer
- Adaptable to continuous change
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Head for numbers
