The Role
As a Maintenance Team Leader your day to day will look like :
- Team is Team leader, Deputy / Technical Engineer, 3 Engineers and 2 Automation Assistants, also currently 1 final year apprentice on the shift.
- 60 / 40 split office / on tool.
- Responsible for PPM Planning for the shift, all appraisals, holidays, disciplinary concerns, absence, etc.
- Responsible for onsite critical breakdown management, working with the customer and site Knapp Leadership team to ensure fast response times and accurate communications.
- Customer focused engineering mindset.
The Candidate
In a Maintenance Team leader I am looking for :
- Someone with a recognised engineering qualification
- Has previous experience leading a team
- A strong communicator to be able to manage the shift
- Be able to work in a high pressure and fast moving environment
